As Director of Social Services Training & Development at The Salvation Army USA Western Territory, I lead efforts to build and strengthen training across the USA Western Territory. I’m passionate about equipping the people who serve our communities with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive.
My background in Learning & Development includes instructional design, eLearning, animation, and live event experience at Honda and Stanford Medicine, where I created storyboards/scripts, eLearning modules, explainer videos, educational animations, job aids, webinars, and other types of learning experiences.
As a first-generation college student, I earned my Bachelor’s from UC Irvine (where I became a published researcher), my Master’s in Education from Stanford University, and my Master’s in Instructional Design from WGU.
I love sharing my work, volunteering at nonprofits, and connecting with others through presenting at conferences like the 2025 Learning with Innovative Technology (LIT) Conference, Learning 2023, InnovateED, and Stanford GSE's STEP Alumni Conference. I'm also honored to have been recognized as a LifeChanger of the Year (2021), featured on CBS News Sacramento (2023), and part of the Learning Guild’s Thirty Under 30 cohort (2023).
